I painted this from a picture I took while on vacation in the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. Truly a beautiful place.

Bird in cattails

Painted from a picture I took while taking a walk in the Don Valley Brickworks.  A huge field of cattails (lovely plant by the way) and I spotted this red-winged black bird in the midst of all the plants. Little did he know he would be inspiration for a painting!
